Requirements
In partnership with Kulture Klub Collaborative
- Ages 16–24
- Priority given to youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness
- Must commit to attending all classes
- No sewing experience needed just a willingness to learn
- Respectful participation in a safe, creative space
All classes, materials, and supplies are provided free of charge.

No experience needed just bring your curiosity and creativity! All basic materials and tools are provided.
Intro To Sewing Course
In September
$150
This course is perfect for anyone new to sewing and ready to build a strong foundation. You’ll learn how to confidently operate a sewing machine, set up your sewing space, and understand essential tools, fabrics, and patterns.
Course Format:
- 3 sessions total
- 3 hours per session
- $50 per session
- Hands-on instruction in a supportive environment

What You'll Learn:
- How to operate and maintain a sewing machine
- Assembling and using a basic sewing toolkit
- Setting up your sewing space for success
- Understanding fabric types and how to choose the right one
- Preparing and cutting fabric properly
- Reading sewing pattern info sheets
- Decoding sewing pattern symbols
- Taking your own measurements and selecting the correct size
- Working with both PDF and printed patterns
All materials and sewing machines will be provided.
No experience needed, just bring your creativity!
